Homework due Week 11-12 (Thursday 11th-18th May)
Below is the contents page of 'Teaching Grammar Creatively' and a copy of the full book. In class, we will arrange two activities that you can choose from. In Week 10-11 you will explain and/or demonstrate one of the activities to the class. You can modify the activity if needed. This is for practice and sharing ideas. We will arrange a schedule in class.

Due to the schedule and lack of time for more presentations, the final course assessment will be development of a grammar lesson following the M-U-F framework.
This is an individual project. You will create a PPT (and other materials if necessary) for a lesson on a grammar point of your choosing. The PPT should have a 'Meaning' stage, a "Use" stage, and a "Form" stage.
The age and level of the students is your choice, but middle and high school students would be a good age for reference (they are generally intermediate level and need the grammar scaffolding).
This assignment is due in Week 15. Your PPT and any other necessary materials can be emailed to: [email protected]
You do not need to complete a separate lesson plan, however, please try to include enough detail in the PPT and materials so that the activity instructions are clear.
These lesson plans will be shared on my site in Week 16.
In Week 13-14 we will work on your lesson plans and I will show examples.
To find a suitable grammar focus for your lesson, I suggest looking at the grammar menu on this site: https://en.islcollective.com/
