Final AssignmentLesson plan & PPT design tips
•Your lesson should be implicit and inductive. You don’t have to explicitly tell the students what grammar point you are studying (although it’s not a secret!). The name of the grammar point is not important for the students. •Use examples and keep the focus on meaning. Don’t include long grammar explanations or long copied texts. •Think about the context of when/why you use a certain grammar point. For example: Comparatives are used to compare things, for example when you are shopping for a new computer. •Design the PPT from the students’ perspective. The titles should be useful for them (not the teacher) and simple instructions should be included. Submission Information You need to submit: (1) Your PPT file This should be ready to teach and designed from the students' perspective. This should be a PPT that is ready to use in the classroom. (2) A simplified activity lesson plan (1-2 pages) Follow the design, layout, titles in the book (Teaching Grammar Creatively). Try to copy a similar style of writing using imperatives and short sentences. Copy sections from the book if needed. (3) any other files related to the lesson Such as worksheets, word cards, flashcards, etc. Final presentations checklist:

Take a look at the book below. Each unit (1.1, 1.2, 1.3 …) has a different grammar point. Choose 1-2 units that you may like to prepare a lesson for. Print those specific units (or you can view on your phone or laptop) and bring them next week. Next week we will confirm who is going to do each unit and start preparing for the final presentations.
