Bring authentic materials The Week 5 reading talked about authentic materials and language input. For homework, find one authentic reading (pdf) and one authentic listening material online.
Homework for Week 8 (October 26)
Prepare a short speaking activity to demonstrate in small groups. The speaking activity does not need a lot of scaffolding. It can be for any age group or level. Any materials can be used. Think carefully about your instructions. Be prepared to do your activity in class. Homework for Week 9 (November 2)

Start thinking and planning a speaking lesson plan. The lesson should have at least one speaking activity. Consider target language, warm up steps + scaffolding.

Prepare a basic outline of a speaking lesson plan. Use the form below, which you can modify (delete the red text after reading and change the titles of the stages). Week 11 will be a feedback workshop about your lesson plans.
