Week 8 - Task:
Choose one of the technology services we have discussed in Week 7 (see the PPT file), or another service that you know. 
Create a teachers account if you need to. Create something using the service. For example a quiz (Socrative), an activity (Educandy), a video (OBS Studio), etc.. Try it at home or with your students.
Be ready to share next week.

Week 9 reading (due April 30)
After reading, write about your experiences and opinions related to the reading on the e-class discussion board.

Listening or Speaking Lesson + Materials / Final Microteaching
Task: Create a listening or a speaking lesson plan with materials. This will be used for the final microteaching. A speaking lesson should follow the framework EIF (ECRIF) framework and a listening lesson should follow the PDP framework. 
  • Listening - choose a short (approx. 2~3 minutes) video, such as a song or short story. The language should be simple and clear.
  • Speaking - choose suitable target language, such as simple Q+A or a short conversation (situational language examples: going to the doctor or ordering food).

Schedule::
  • Week 11 (May 14): Bring a first draft in Week 11. We will have lesson plan workshop with feedback. Bring your laptop/computer if you want.
  • Week 12 (May 21): Deadline for lesson plan and materials.
  • Week 13 (May 28): Final feedback and schedule plan.
  • Week 14 (June 4): Microteaching 1
  • **NO CLASS. Week 15 (June 11): supplementary week- you may have a make up class with Wednesday courses on Tuesday according to the official department schedule.
  • Week 16 (June 18): Microteaching 2

Lesson plan should be submitted on the day of your microteaching.
