Seoul Learn Camp - January 2024
Elementary CampOverview
Everyday English files
* There are probably too many worksheets here to cover during the camp, but it's better to have extra!
Storybooks + Book reports
These will be printed for you, but you may want these files to display the files on the PPT and print extra book reports as needed. I suggest demonstrate how to complete the book reports if you think the task is a bit complicated. This file contains the storybooks and the book reports files.
City Project (Week 2)
There aren't specific prepared materials for this. See the curriculum file above for explanation, examples, and links. I suggest teachers share ideas and materials once you've met the students and figured out their level and interests. Tip: Use ChatGPT to quickly generate introductions to landmarks in Seoul for reading practice and examples. You could even use an AI image generator to help with the posters and presentations, depending on your tech expertise. |

Technology Project (Week 2)
There are a lot of optional outcomes for this project. The reason for this is I think that older students need some agency and control over their projects. There are general examples included in the curriculum file above and I will add links and tech guides here before the camp. Teachers will need a dongle to connect their smartphone to the projector. I will prepare this for you. For example: https://plugable.com/cdn/shop/products/1_ori_9ef0356c-9eee-4b4d-bd60-2853b5883dce.jpg?pad_color=fff&v=1653413654&width=2200 |
