Lesson Plan AssignmentFinal Speaking or Listening Lesson Plan + Microteaching/Presentation
Prepare a speaking or listening lesson for young learners (any age and level). See the blank lesson plan template and other files below for more information. Listening lesson: Choose a short song or story video. Use the PDP framework to create a lesson plan. Speaking lesson: Choose target language expressions. Use the EIF framework to create a lesson plan. Materials can be made by you or found and adapted from online websites. Schedule:
Note: I will send feedback before your presentation. This might be done week to week, so presenters for June 14 will get their feedback later than presenters on May 31. About the Presentations / Microteaching Each presentation can be 10-15 minutes. The balance of presentation and micro teaching is your choice. Certain things may be better presented, other things are better demonstrated. I'm looking at your lesson holistically. You will be able to share your screen. It might be easier to add all the files into a PPT, or share your whole screen. Presentations are casual and informal. This is an opportunity to share ideas. May 31 - Eunju, Sangmin, Hyesung, Minji June 7 - Jungwon, Josias, E-joung, Serim, Soyoung June 14 - Hyunsun, Juyoung, Sungyeon, Hyeroung, Sung hee, Angela (Hyerung) --- Blank template
- this can be used for PDP listening or EIF speaking. Delete the titles that are not relevant.
Lesson plan checklists
Assessment is holistic and based on the effectiveness of the lesson. I am not particularly assessing your presentation skills, I am more focused on the quality of the lesson plan considering the content and concepts covered in this course.
Lesson plans for analysis (in class activity)
Example lesson plans that use the same template as this course. Note that the titles of the stages are different, but essentially this is the same template.
